O. Carl Simonton, M.D.


Trained as a radiation oncologist, Dr. Simonton practices psycho-social medicine at the Simonton Cancer Center in Pacific Palisades, California. Co-author of best-seller Getting Well Again. Author of The Healing Journey. He pioneered the use of imagery with cancer patients and currently works with AIDS patients as well. His ground-breaking work paved the way so that mental imagery could become a vital tool, not only in cancer care, but with mental illness, physical illness, health, and wellness.
