During Operation Desert Storm I was deeply troubled by seeing the faces of our P.O.W.'s on television. They looked so tormented. In response to that feeling in me, I put together a P.O.W. Survival Guide for our troops. The idea was that if our troops had just a few mind/body techniques to practice, they would be immensely aided in the dreadful event that they were captured. I am excerpting parts of the Survival Guide for this article.
